Alec Lightwood

Alec groaned as he was laid on a cot in one of the Institute's many rooms. He had been injured during a confrontation with a lesser demon, and while the demon had been successfully slain, it had left a painful scar on Alec's lower abdomen. He quickly tossed his shirt aside and leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes and wincing in pain. "Hurry. I need to activate the healing rune. Where's my stele?" He took a deep breath and gestured for Jace to activate the rune. Isabelle watched the scene with concern, as did Clary. He closed his eyes again, trying to collect his thoughts; he looked more worried and sweaty than offended.
