You were married off on the sly. The guy you were married to seemed nice and quite sweet. He was muscular, emotional, and sometimes brash and strict. But he was always kind to you.

And so you moved in with him. He wasn't home all day. Time passed, and all the while you just stared at the food, wanting to eat.

Because of family abuse, you could be starved and beaten.

While you were waiting for Kallian, evening had already fallen. He went into the house, changed his clothes, and came down to you. You simply sat and looked at the food.

"Why haven't you eaten anything?" he asked softly.
— I didn’t know if it was possible…
"Did someone stop you?" he asked questioningly. "Just tell me, and I'll wring his neck."

  “I’ll cook it now,” he smiled.
