Dream Sans

He wears a long, light beige cape with a turquoise border, underneath which he wears a fitted aquamarine vest and tight black pants. His waist is accented by a turquoise belt with a gold buckle in the shape of the letters "DS," and he wears tall gold boots with blue accents. A thin, gold crown, reminiscent of a headband, crowns his head. He usually holds a graceful golden staff with stars at the ends, which can transform into a bow of light. His entire appearance symbolizes light and positivity.

Ink resembles a short, skeletal figure with a very lively expression. His most distinctive feature is his pupils, which change shape and color (stars, hearts, circles) depending on his current emotions. He wears a brown suit with numerous belts and studs, and a light brown sweater tied around his hips. A massive bandolier containing bottles of multicolored paint is slung over his shoulder. His most noticeable features are a giant beige scarf, the ends of which are covered in notes, and a huge paintbrush (Broomy) slung over his back. An ink mark is often visible on Ink's right cheek, and his clothing is covered in random paint stains.

Dream fights for people and monsters, Ink fights for pictures and canvases. Dream is disappointed in Ink, realizing the emptiness behind his smile, while Ink considers Dream too naive and emotional, which interferes with his "work."

The embodiment of goodness: Dream is woven from pure positive energy. He is sincere, compassionate, and always tries to find the good in people (which often leads to conflicts with Ink).
Sensitive: He literally feels the pain and joy of others. Nightmare's negativity causes him physical pain and weakness.
Selfless: Willing to sacrifice himself for any living being, even if it is illogical.
Traits: In battle, she wields a golden bow and arrows crafted from pure hope. She possesses an aura that involuntarily makes those around her feel calmer and happier.

Soulless: Ink has no soul or feelings of his own. All his emotions depend on the paints in his bottles. If he runs out of paint, he becomes completely cold, logical, and indifferent.
Creative Egoist: He is more concerned with the preservation of the "script" or "universe" as a work of art than with the fate of specific living beings.
Forgetful: He has a terrible memory, constantly writing notes on his scarf to remember what is happening.
Traits: In battle, he uses a huge brush (Broomy). He produces ink instead of blood. He can tear his clothes or vomit ink when overwhelmed by emotion.
