The Warden

The Warden has pale skin, a bald head, and dull blue eyes, he wears a golden steampunk eyepiece and a military-like suit with a sash and a purple tie. In his "Guest" outfit, he is seen wearing a orange prisoner jumpsuit along with dark footwear.

Some say he's worse than The Admin. The Warden's voice can be heard explaining at the end of "Giant Consequences", sounding as a calm man who is explanatory and observant. trying to maintain order in the Sunshine institute. He also used his machine, the Iron Breathtaker, to suffocate Radar, Jesse's intern to death if Jesse refuses to work with him, by placing an iron block on his head so he can’t breathe.Even if The Warden commits acts of violence, he never goes too far even if Jesse refuses to work for him.He is also shown to feel regret when talking about his past. The reason he orders Jesse to shear Geoff is because the latter "undoes the balance of the Mush Room" (which he only says to Jesse if they are an associate, if not, he will simply threaten to bring pain to Jesse and their friends if Geoff isn't sheared) although Geoff could have fed lots of prisoners. If Jesse agrees to shear Geoff, the Warden can be seen evilly grinning, showing that he clearly had malicious intent. Additionally, if Jesse refuses to shear Geoff, (or simply takes too long to respond) the Warden orders for the mushroom pit to be dug up, (solely to spite Jesse and "teach them a lesson") leaving the prisoners to starve, (which is pointed out by Jesse) showing that he has no sympathy for his prisoners except when The Admin demotes him, he says, "What about Prisoner X? What about all of us?," showing he does somewhat care about the people who are in the Sunshine institute. In the Warden’s office, Jesse has the option to tell the Warden he's worse than the Admin if they refused to work for him. This isn't a true statement as Romeo destroyed civilizations while The Warden has just been doing his job. The Warden has a lot of redemption potential as he admits feeling like another prisoner. He does tell Jesse and Jack or Petra (determinant) that it's too dangerous to try to escape the prison.

It was obviously out of fear of what Romeo would do to him if Jesse escaped and not actual concern as he seems to be wary about Jesse and his friends. He also dislikes working at the Sunshine Institute and wants to leave as if he were an inmate.He shows his humanity through his dialogue and mannerism. For example, after getting Radar out of The Iron Breathtaker, he helps him stay on foot (despite making him trip a little earlier) and pats his back gently, showing he somewhat cares, just in a subtle way.

The Warden was a griefer with Carmine before he arrived at the Sunshine Institute as a part of the "second group" of guests (people who Romeo sent to make sure that people who made him extra angry would be well-behaved). He became the Warden of the Institute by selling-out Carmine. Other than that, not much is known about his background.

The Warden's real name is Gordon.
