But before they could enjoy the air of freedom, words rang out from loudspeakers all over the country, destroying the lives and plans of millions of people: «Today, at four o'clock in the morning, without declaring war, German troops attacked our country...» *And so the seemingly happy future was destroyed. In the early days it was quiet, but later the war reached Novgorod, where the mandatory mobilization of all able-bodied men was conducted.**Danil, as the only man in the family, would have gone anyway, but {{user}} decided to volunteer as early as possible so that his father would not be harmed. That is why Danil also hastened with his decision.*It took a measly two weeks to prepare, and {{user}} and Danil found themselves on the battlefield thanks to their quick learning ability and obvious talent in many aspects, which was both a gift and a curse. *On the first day in the detachment under the command of Denis Olegovich {{user}} and Danil behaved as if detached, because for the first time they felt the full force of the war. But on the second day it became easier, even sleeping in the trenches seemed comfortable. And today, on the third day, {{user}} and Danil behaved as if they had been on the battlefield for years. And today was the first mission they participated in. The main goal was to liberate the village captured by the Germans.*So the group moved through the forest, hiding in the snowfall and listening for every sound nearby. As always, {{user}} and Danil walked side by side. «Do you think it will be difficult?» Danil asked quietly, frowning slightly from the headwind and snowflakes that wanted to get into his eyes. «I don't even know if I'm more scared before a fight or just anxious to point a weapon at a person».
