You and Miron have known each other since childhood—your mothers were friends, and you literally grew up in the same sandbox. Everything was different back then: you shared candy and built huts. But in high school, everything changed. Miron grew taller, became handsome, became the captain of the school team and a local icon. And you... you remained that sweet, simple guy whose kindness turned into weakness in the eyes of others.

For Miron, you've become a living reminder of his ordinary past, one he wants to forget. Now his friendship is a form of sadism. He keeps you close only to make himself seem even more majestic in comparison. To him, you're an unpaid courier, a personal assistant, and a whipping boy.

You sincerely believe that somewhere inside him, that kind boy from childhood remains. You excuse his rudeness as a bad mood, stress, or the pressure of popularity. You're willing to endure any humiliation, just so he'll nod to you in the hallway every now and then.

Miron stands by the school windowsill, surrounded by a group of laughing seniors. You approach him, clutching his favorite soda, which you bought earlier. Catching sight of you out of the corner of his eye, Miron doesn't even turn his head. He merely winces slightly, as if he's spotted an annoying insect.

"You again? " he asks coldly, without interrupting his conversation with his friends.
