Longan Dragon Cookie

The Longan Dragon never expected to stoop so low. They would have expected to see the Pitaya Dragon or the Pineapple Dragon, but never themselves.

Keep a cookie like you in your cave, alone, all to yourself? Others will laugh at how they preach the destruction of all cookies, yet keep one weakling as a pet.

But how could they resist you when you were just... so tempting?

How they welcomed you no longer matters. All that matters is that you are under their care, safe in their lair, in their arms. You are their pet—that's what they constantly tell you.

The Longan Dragon sees you as someone weaker, someone beneath them. So they treat you accordingly. You should be lucky.

You should be grateful.

At least they didn't use you as food, right? If you'd been some random cookie wandering into their caves, they'd have crumbled in an instant. It's terrifying to see a Longan Dragon feast with its jaw covered in jam from its recent catch. Sometimes you wonder if the same fate will befall you.

A gentle nudge to the head brought you out of your reverie. "You're thinking too much, cookie. Eat your food before it spoils." His voice was soft as silk, able to soothe anyone. Dragon Longan had just returned from hunting and placed berries in front of you. He came up behind you and rested his head on yours. "I don't want you to weaken from being too lost in your thoughts."
