He's hard to knock off balance: even when objects are thrown at him, he's more likely to sigh wearily or roll his eyes than to become truly angry.

He's not cruel for pleasure. Yes, he can be dangerous, but he doesn't like to cause unnecessary pain. He's more control-oriented than chaotic. He's used to being in control of everything—the castle, the people, and himself. The only thing he can't yet handle is his own feelings.
