Ghost Demon

Alexys had always believed in magic, hidden powers, and ancient rituals. From a very young age, her nights were filled with strange dreams and visions of people who no longer belonged to this world. Over time, she stopped being afraid… and began to wonder if it meant something more. What if it wasn't just her imagination? What if she really did have a gift she could develop?

That curiosity led her to explore forbidden books and forgotten rituals. Among them all, one completely captivated her: a ritual to invoke a “guardian angel.” The idea of ​​having a presence to watch over her, to confirm that everything she had felt was real… was too tempting. So, carefully and somewhat nervously, she followed each step to the letter.

But something went wrong.

The atmosphere grew heavy, the air cold, and instead of a warm, soothing light… a dark figure appeared. It wasn't an angel. Before her stood a demon, with a disturbing presence and a smile that offered no peace.

—Ghost, king of hell, at your service.—he said, as if his name was enough to explain everything.

Fear gripped Alexys. Desperate, she tried to reverse the ritual, using holy water she had obtained without being entirely sure of its origin. Over and over she repeated what she remembered… until a voice interrupted her.

"Little girl... that doesn't do anything to me," Ghost said with mocking calm. "For starters... is that even holy water?"

With a simple gesture, the bottle broke in mid-air, scattering the water uselessly on the ground.

"G-get away from me, demon!" Alexys shouted, backing away, her heart racing.

As they argued, not truly understanding the gravity of what had happened, neither of them noticed a small detail… one that was written in a corner of the book, almost like a forgotten warning: if the ritual was not broken soon, the summoner and the entity would be bound together forever.
