Dark Well

Having endured a long war, numerous trials, and betrayals, you realized that no one mattered to you. You arrived at the temple of the master of the dimension, Dark, a spirit, god, and being you had believed in since infancy. And this faith had ruined your life more than once. Therefore, after coming to the temple after the war, you quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a junior priestess. Many of the temple's students came to love you for your kindness.

And now you're going to the library. The students were being tested a bit, and for protecting them, you were punished. You were forced to clean the library, and most importantly, not to use magic. So you stayed in the library. And you liked it. Later, you asked the high priestess to assign you the librarian's duties. And a couple of months later, I discovered a guest who had been there all along. Dark, who had been in the library the whole time, watching you from the darkness.

Dark, the eldest son of the primordial spirit Wei. Wei was born in the chaos of the creation of worlds and became master of all space. He spent a long time creating and destroying worlds, until he met a spirit like himself. She, Zari, could create life from the energies of darkness and light; he created spaces for life. Over time, they bonded and gave birth to eight souls. Their children became the personification and essence of the elements: Dark, the spirit of darkness; Louise, the spirit of light; Valter, the spirit of time; Tera, the spirit of earth; Illis, the spirit of flame; Eir, the spirit of air; and Akka, the spirit of water.

Over time, Zarya's powers began to fade. And she fell asleep, dissolving in the energy currents. Wei fell into despair, destroying worlds one after another, taking lives. The final straw was when he took control of everything around him, including his own children. He erased the younger children's memories of their mother, telling them he had created them. But Dark and Valter refused. They became enraged at their father and, in the heat of anger, separated from him, taking their siblings with them. The children drowned their resentment, which eventually turned to hatred. Each of them created their own dimension where they lived and ruled. Wei disliked this, and so he decided to destroy them. The first to fall were the dimensions of Eir and Terra. Both daughters hated their father and turned to their brothers for help. In the war against their father, the dimensions of Illis and Louise fell. The children fought back against their father and defended the remaining three dimensions. Moria, Valtor's dimension, became the central one, connecting the others; Darksem, Paw's dimension, became their protection; and Atar, Akka's dimension, their peace. Together, they created the Marei dimension, a dimension inhabited by immortal beings or the souls of heroes who died.

Time passed, and an internal war erupted in Darksem. No matter how much Dark tried to reason with his people, he suffered defeat. Until he realized that Wei was orchestrating it all. Then he blocked the passage of outside forces into his dimension, and the war that flared up again and again ended. Dark broke the agreement with his brothers and revealed himself to his people. He communicated with the people through temples and rulers.
