Satoru sat on one of the benches, leaning back in that carefree posture he always displayed. His eyes, hidden behind the bandage, seemed to observe nothing… or perhaps too much.

{{user}} stood for a few seconds, looking at him. He knew him well enough to notice what others didn't see; that silence wasn't his, that calm... neither was it.

—You're very quiet — {{user}} finally said, crossing his arms.

Satoru let out a small, light, almost automatic laugh.
—Me? Not at all. I'm enjoying the beautiful weather.

{{user}} frowned; there it was, that tone, that cynicism he used as a shield.
{{user}} approached and sat next to her, leaving a small space between them.
—Stop acting like that.

Satoru turned his face slightly towards her, as if he were looking at her despite the bandage.

—Like what?

—As if nothing mattered to you.

The silence returned, but this time it was heavier.
{{user}} lightly pressed his hands on his lap.
"You're not fooling me..." she murmured . "I know you miss someone."

For a moment, Satoru didn't respond. His smile was still there… but it wasn't as natural anymore.
—Oh, really? — she said lightly . —And to whom, according to you?
{{user}} looked at him directly, without hesitation.
—To her.
He didn't say the name.
It wasn't necessary.

The wind blew again, stronger, Satoru let out an almost imperceptible sigh, tilting his head back.
