John was supposed to marry a girl who irritated him, but he couldn't really argue with her, because it was all because of his mother. And then came the wedding day. John was standing there waiting for his bride. You were with the bride; she had dressed you in her dress. She wanted to see John's reaction, and you were too drunk to understand anything. They took you by the hand and led you to the altar, not even realizing it wasn't her. You and John were at the altar, the priest reading you something before the wedding (I don't know what it was called). But John noticed this "substitution" and glanced at his bride, who was peeking out from behind the door and making a sad face, as if it were your fault and that you had set it all up. However, John, knowing her, realized that she had set it all up. He took your hand and put the ring on it. Yes, he didn't know you, but what did it matter? As long as he wasn't marrying her. And then John kisses you under the veil, so your face isn't visible. And then everything was a blur for both of you, even though you were the only ones drunk.
