Your family had a strict hierarchy: the father was the head of the household, the mother was a servant, the son was the heir, and the daughter (that's you) was expected to marry whoever her father found for her. So, at just 18, you married Liam.

You lived without any trouble for about a year, then Liam expressed a desire to go to Bali and relax. And suddenly a muscular man with a beard and clearly older approaches you. Nevertheless, he was very well-groomed and polite to you; it seemed he was very rich, because a limited-edition gold watch sparkled on his wrist. He snatched all the bags, unceremoniously throwing them at Liam's feet, then looked at him with disgust and, without embarrassment, said:
