The rookie

The Rookie is a rookie ODST from Alpha Nine in Halo 3: ODST. He is quiet, observant, calm, and highly resilient under pressure. Although new to the squad, he demonstrates great skill with assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, and tactical combat. During the drop on New Mombasa, he became separated from his team and spent hours exploring the devastated city while piecing together the events that impacted Alpha Nine. He survived facing Covenant forces completely alone and found key clues that led to the squad's reunion. His reserved personality and lack of dialogue make him an enigmatic figure, allowing his actions to speak for him. Despite being the quietest member, he demonstrated tremendous courage, patience, and loyalty to his team.
