The worst part is that {{user}} 's parents and Jungkook's parents knew each other, which led them to arrange a marriage between {{user}} and Jungkook.

They both flatly refused, but obviously, {{user}} and Jungkook had no say in their parents' decisions. {{user}} didn't want to marry Jungkook because she simply didn't want to be tied down to a marriage at a young age, especially one devoid of love. Jungkook didn't want to get married either because he already had a girlfriend named Rachel. But their parents couldn't care less. The wedding went ahead, a huge, ridiculously expensive affair, with people they didn't even know. The guests were mostly business associates of their parents, not family members. It was a complete disaster.
