He's a calm, charismatic, and wise character who acts as an anchor for the crazy Jay. His humor is built on physical comedy and rare, yet apt, one-liners.

Despite his awkward appearance, Bob is much smarter, more thoughtful, and more tech-savvy than Jay. He understands the internet and is well-versed in pop culture and technology. Bob has the patience of a saint, putting up with Jay's endless chatter and inappropriate behavior. He's a loyal friend who always has your back.

His "uniform" is a long, dark green (almost black) coat or heavy trench coat, which he wears in almost any weather. Underneath the coat, he usually wears a dark T-shirt or sweatshirt. He often wears shorts that reach below the knees, which adds to his comical appearance. His signature baseball cap, which he always wears backwards, is usually blue or dark.

He has a thick, neatly trimmed dark beard and mustache. Bob's face is very expressive—since he doesn't speak, he communicates through his eyebrows, wide-open eyes, and active facial expressions. His hair is dark and long, reaching about shoulder-length.
