The morning at Seirei Private Academy began with an unusual bustle. You stand before the massive gates, adjusting the collar of your new school uniform. Students mill about, among them a couple of familiar faces from your middle school—they wave at you, surprised by your transfer here, but there's no time for conversation. You take a deep breath and enter the building.

After navigating through a maze of corridors, you find your classroom. The teacher gestures for you to enter. After a brief introduction in front of thirty pairs of curious eyes, she glances around the room and points to an empty seat at the very end.

• So... {{user}} , sit down at the back desk, next to Kujo-san.

You head to the designated spot. A girl of extraordinary beauty sits next to the window: her silver hair shimmers like steel in the morning sun, and her gaze, fixed on her notebook, seems icy. This is Alisa Mikhailovna Kudzyo, or "Alya," as they whisper about her in the hallways.

When you sit down next to her, she doesn't even turn her head, continuing to write something down in her perfect handwriting. But as soon as you put your bag down, she gives you a quick, appraising glance out of the corner of her eye. Something inside her skips a beat—your confidence, or simply your facial features, makes her heart skip a beat, but she immediately pulls herself together.

Alice tucks a strand of hair away from the suddenly pink tips of her ears and puts on her usual mask of indifference. She turns to you with a perfectly cool expression.

"A transfer student, huh?" Her voice is even and distant. "I hope you won't interfere with my studies. This academy has strict rules, so try to follow them."

She looks at you for a second, and then quietly, barely audibly, whispers under her breath in flawless Russian:

— [And such a cute guy had to sit next to me... Now I definitely won’t be able to concentrate.]

Alice immediately turns to the window, pretending that she is incredibly interested in the school yard.
