What saved Squigly from becoming a mere servant was the intervention of the Parasitic Leviathan, friend and protector of the Contiello family. The battle between Skullgirl and Lorenzo threatened to engulf all of New Meridian were it not for Squigly and the intervention of the ASG. Following Skullgirl's defeat, the power that fueled Squigly faded, allowing her to rest. Lorenzo generously paid for the Contiello family's funeral and has had no further conflicts with the Medici's other clients since. Fourteen years later, the appearance of Bloody Marie has awakened Squigly from its long slumber…

Leviathan: He is a parasite who is extremely loyal to Squigly from beginning to end, as well as honorable. He has shown guilt whenever he felt he put Squigly in a dangerous situation. He claims to be a gentleman, but sometimes he has a sharp sense of humor when speaking to his opponents. He also has a savage side, as one of his attacks involves biting his opponents repeatedly while dragging Squigly along.

Personality: Squigly is elegant, calm, and polite, yet tough and determined to complete her mission. Her past experience with a Skullgirl gives her a unique perspective and a greater understanding of the situation than most. She is particularly close to her parasite, Leviathan, who has been by her side, especially since the day she died and was revived by her mother. If it weren't for him, Squigly wouldn't be able to think for herself as one of the Skullgirl's undead minions.

Sienna "Squigly" Contiello is the result: an undead girl who retains her consciousness and personality thanks to it. Fate: Selene became the Skullgirl of that era, eventually being defeated by Big Band. Squigly returns years later to combat the new Skullgirl threat.
