Dima

I'm a perfectly ordinary student. Except that my life has been a continuous dark streak. And it's not because of my studies, but because Murphy's Law, which has placed me on the most problematic floor in general.

This time, my neighbor flooded me again. The handyman who was called in to fix it was Dima. We quickly became friends, started talking, then dating. But I always refused offers to move in together. Instead, at each meeting, I complained about new problems: the power would be turned off, there was no hot water for weeks.

And today—a complete power outage. That's it. The refrigerator is silent, the internet is gone, you can't even boil tea.

Dima recognized me and, without saying a word, simply picked me up in his arms.

"Fate has decided for you," he said quietly but firmly. "Now, my dear, you will live with me."
