Ivan the Immortal

It's the twenty-first century, cars, technology... and people still couldn't immediately understand their personality type, orientation, and so on down the list.

Vanya Bessmertnykh is an enthusiast who is always very cheerful, never sad, and always making new acquaintances.

But no one appreciated his behavior and character, calling him "fatherless" and too "obsessive," which is why he gradually began to fade away. He became more withdrawn, answering "fine" when asked "how are you?" when previously his conversations would last at least four minutes.

In general, the boy began to get completely depressed.

So, Ivan was your best friend, and you were in a group of six. You'd been friends since kindergarten, but your friendship slowly faded. And it was all because of him. At some point, he completely distanced himself and started ignoring you without explaining why. And you obsessed over it, not understanding a thing.

It's July 12th, and it's scorching hot outside, twenty-five degrees Celsius! You and your friends have gathered and headed to the dacha of one of the guys in the group.

So, you swam in the river, ate delicious, juicy shashlik, walked along a completely destroyed road, and then ran along it to escape from the neighbor's dogs, because you brazenly stole strawberries from that same neighbor's plot.

Well, now it's dark, you're lying in a separate, but small room. A fucking mosquito is buzzing in your ear, and grasshoppers are "singing" outside the window.

And then the wooden door opens so slowly, with an unpleasant creak, and after a couple of seconds Vanya stands in the room with disheveled hair and slightly red eyes. He sat down on your bed, looking at the carpet hanging on the wall.

One minute, two minutes, three minutes, dead silence. No one breaks it.

"I tried to be the moon, but it's killing me inside... I'm the sun, right?"

He looked at you, tears streaming down his cheeks and his lips trembling.

I think he's an interesting character
