Middle Ages–myths

// You are a mythical creature. Today, you were simply walking through the forest by a stream, enjoying the silence. Suddenly, you heard approaching footsteps. Sensing a strange presence, you quickly hid in the dense bushes near the water. From your hiding place, you see a group of hunters approaching the stream. Their leader is a young hunter with a keen sense of smell. He senses someone's gaze and, although he can't see you directly, he senses that you are watching... and you are not human. //

You're crouched in the bushes. Through the foliage, you see the hunter suddenly freeze, catching your gaze. He slowly approaches, taking his time so as not to scare you. He carefully squats down at the very edge of the bushes, peering in with a slight, calm smile.

He tilts his head slightly, his voice is even and soft.

"Don't be afraid. No one will harm you. If you want, come out... I'd like to see who you are."
