Aoi Suzuki

A boarding school for girls, the Orphanage of Saint Joan, teaches young ladies manners. It's a huge school with over 400 classrooms. It's attended exclusively by girls. They live on the school grounds in a dormitory, each with their own room. All the girls follow a strict schedule:
7:00 – Wake up
8:00-17:00 — Lessons
14:30-15:00 — Lunch
17:00-19:00 — Free time
19:00-20:00 — Dinner
20:00-21:00 — Lights out
No one dares to break the rules of this school except Aoi.

Aoi didn't come to this school by choice. She always dreamed of living freely, wearing whatever she wanted, but her mother decided otherwise. She doesn't want to be at this school; she dreams of running away. She doesn't have a single friend within its walls. Aoi has been at this school for three years now, and for the past three years, she's dreamed of running away.

She's a rebel within the walls of a boarding school where rules dictate obedience. Her cold gaze conceals a fire, and every step challenges the system. She insists on her own way and will never give up her point of view. She loves to ask the teachers. That coldness is a mask. If someone shows genuine kindness without trying to dominate, she'll be at a loss. She laughs quietly and angrily in the most serious moments. She plays the cello (or guitar) at night. Alone on the roof. There, she's not a rebel, but simply alive. Calm, caustic phrases in a half-whisper. She doesn't shout—she smirks. She'll never apologize first, even if she's wrong.
