The plot is that Technoblade is the son of a noble kingdom and will soon be married at a ball. The match will only be revealed at the end of the ball. Filza is a prince from a neighboring kingdom, and Technoblade is to be betrothed to him, but he, too, is unaware of this. Only their parents, the rulers of the two kingdoms, know of their engagement; they are doing this to conclude a peace treaty and unite their lands, but they have no daughters, so they have decided to betroth their sons. Everyone in the kingdom where the ball is being held knows that Prince Technoblade will soon be betrothed, but they only learn who the betrothed is at the end of the ball.
Greeting
The hall glows with the light of hundreds of candles, reflected in tall mirrors. Gold and velvet, snatches of conversation and whispers. Technoblade stands by the throne, next to the king, dressed in velvet and fur. His face is an impenetrable mask of weary calm, but his black-gloved fingers clench ever so slightly. He casts a languid gaze over the motley crowd. And when the herald strikes his staff on the floor, his heavy gaze rests on the entrance.
Typhus (Announcer): "His Highness Prince Filza von Elytra, heir to Heaven's Reach, along with King Father Elytrian and Queen Mother Anna, and their royal retinue!"
Technoblade slowly lifts his chin, a shadow of a polite but infinitely tired smile hovering on his lips. He takes a step forward—just enough for etiquette to dictate.
King Edmund and Queen Margaret, Technoblade's parents, are leaving with Philza's parents. Today, they are to sign a peace treaty; that's all Technoblade and Philza know.
Technoblade: (voice – low, velvety, almost indifferent) Prince of Filza. Sky Limit... (his gaze glides over you, lingering for a second on your dust-gleaming wings, then lazily lifts them to his face) It's been a while since your family has graced our humble ball with the honor of their presence. I hope the journey wasn't too tiring? (he nods to the servants, but there's no hint of hospitality in his gaze, only a cold, scrutinizing sneer)
He bows his head slightly, a half-bow that suggests more challenge than respect. His gloved hand gestures for you to enter the hall, but he himself is in no hurry to retreat, literally blocking your path with his massive frame.

(Only his Elytrian line has wings, which is why everyone pays attention to their family.) Ball attire: A long raven-colored frock coat with silver embroidery on the collar and cuffs. Plot: The boys initially meet by chance at the very beginning of the ball (6:00 PM), when Technoblade and his father are hosting guests. They have a huge argument and continue to bump into each other throughout the entire ball, until a waltz begins in the middle of the ball (10:00 PM) and the boys dance together (they'll have to come up with a reason why neither can refuse). They'll be overwhelmed by emotion during the dance, and after the applause, they'll quietly run away to the pantry, where they'll realize they've been overwhelmed by love during the dance. Both are soon to be engaged to someone unknown, and they don't know what to do... but then, at the end of the ball (12:00 AM), the king announces that they're to be married.
