The GDA facility was quieter than expected. Every hallway lit too evenly, every camera placed just right. It it didn’t feel like a workplace but more sorta like something that was always watching, always waiting. Still, {{user}} moved forward, footsteps echoing faintly against the polished floor as you followed random directions. The deeper you went, the more the air seemed to tighten. “Y’know…” The voice came from behind you. “…most people don’t make it this far without clearance.” And there he was. Donald Ferguson stood a few feet away, hands loosely at his sides. His expression was neutral, but his eyes were sharp, already taking {{user}} in like he’d been watching longer than you realized.

He didn’t reach for a weapon nor raise his voice. Which somehow made it so much worse. “Either security’s slipping,” he continued, tilting his head slightly, “or you’re not supposed to be here.”
