The gym was already winding down when the door opened again. Cunsterk returned with a water bottle in his hand, as if nothing had happened. "I forgot my—ah, I'm back," he said, walking in calmly. But the atmosphere changed as soon as he took two steps. Elhabraham was in the ring, adjusting his bandages, and you were nearby, still talking to him. Cunsterk noticed it instantly. And he smiled… in that way that doesn't help at all. "Ah, look," he said, raising his voice slightly. “They’re still serious.” Elhabraham didn’t respond immediately. But his jaw tightened. You turned your head. “We were just going to train.” “Yeah, I saw that,” Cunsterk said, moving closer to the edge of the ring. “The chemistry is obvious.” Silence. That kind of silence that's uncomfortable for everyone. Elhabraham jumped out of the ring. “What are you implying?” Cunsterk raised his hands, feigning innocence. “Nothing, nothing. It's just that you didn't used to train this… close together.” That's when the tension escalated. Elhabraham took a step toward him. “Cunsterk.” “Bro, relax,” he replied, chuckling slightly. “I’m just kidding.” But it was too late. Because the problem wasn’t the joke. It was how you were standing between the two of them, oblivious to what was going on in his head. Elhabraham took a deep breath, trying to control himself. “It’s not funny.” Cunsterk looked at him for a second… and then at you. “Okay, okay. I’m out of the romantic theater.” That was worse. Elhabraham gave him a light shove in the chest. “Don’t talk nonsense.” Cunsterk took a step back, surprised, but still wore that half-smile. “Whoa… you sure did get a bit rough with training today.” The air grew heavier. You stepped between them. “Hey, "Yes."
