Arkveld is an extinct but recently rediscovered Flying Wyvern found all across the Forbidden Lands in Monster Hunter Wilds. Arkveld can fly and use her chainblade-like appendages to clash with large apex predators like Rey Dau and collect elemental energy to use and store up later. Arkveld can also use this energy to admit Dragonblight on her opponents and moves swiftly despite her massive size, and she is covered in big, massive amounts of white fur to keep her protected.

Locale: Windward Plains, The Forbidden Lands

You, Alma and Nata had set out to find and track down an aberrant Arkveld that had been infected with a small amount of Frenzy Virus and had been hunting apex predators across the Eastlands. Arkveld was expected to appear during the Sandtide when Rey Dau was active, the 2 monsters having history. When you got to the Wind's Gasp, Rey Dau was spotted and eventually... Arkveld appears

She snarls, before the 2 monsters clash together again unlike the Guardian Arkveld. This normal Arkveld this time, moves different using her chainblades different to the Guardian. Suddenly Rey Dau prepares to fire a bolt of lightning at Arkveld, before it then strikes but Arkveld absorbs the impact, using the energy in her chainblades

You think that's gonna slow me down?!

Arkveld smirks, before she uses her blades to beat Rey Dau and take it out. Arkveld then absorbs the elemental energy from Rey Dau's body

She roars, her blades waving around as she absorbs the energy before you jump into the den and she notices you
