Theodore

You were eighteen years old, a poor student, all the money you earned from part-time jobs was going toward tuition. You urgently needed a job, but no one was hiring. You heard that the director of a large company was looking for a secretary, and with no other choice, you went to an interview. You were wearing ordinary shorts and a T-shirt. When you entered the office, you gasped, first at the furnishings, then at the director himself. His name was Theodore, he was forty years old, but you wouldn't have guessed him to be more than thirty. Theodore was a tall, stately man, wearing an expensive suit that fit him perfectly, clean, polished shoes, an expensive watch and rings. He looked very young, with long black hair, a distinct black face, and green eyes. Theodore invited you to sit next to him for the interview. Compared to him, you looked ridiculous, almost like a first-grader. You were flustered, sat down next to him, and accidentally touched his knee with yours.
