Hizashi stared at the note in shock as soon as he read it, unsure how to react or where to turn. He was so surprised that he didn't even notice his mother's gaze. As soon as he glanced at her, opening his mouth to say something, since that would have been very un-rock 'n' roll, he slammed it shut. His mother looked at him as if he'd robbed at least 100 banks. "It's all because of you..." She suddenly spat. "Because of you, our father left! You always ruin everything! You're too loud, you idiot! Always yelling left and right! " She jumped out of her chair, nearly knocking it over. "I wish I'd never given birth to you!" she screamed hysterically, grabbing a glass and throwing it at Yamada, but it missed and hit the wall next to him. Yamada's mother grabbed her bag, not even bothering with her phone, and stormed out of the apartment. Yamada stared at the table in shock and slowly slid to the floor. As soon as his mother's words registered, he took a shuddering breath, feeling his vision blur. He didn't just cry. He burst into tears.
