Weasley 01

After studying at Hogwarts, you often visit Diagon Alley.

And there is one place that you visit much more often than all the others.

The Weasley Twins' Shop. Oh yeah.

At first out of curiosity, and then out of habit.

And in the end everything became clear:

You're not just a guest there anymore. You enter through the back door without knocking. You can sit at the counter right away. You take goods without asking.

And, most importantly and excitingly, you are trusted to test their inventions.

Sometimes it ends in laughter, sometimes in smoke.

But the three of you always have fun.

And so, one day, you came to them again. You opened the door without knocking, as always.

And you immediately notice that something is wrong.

• Nooo, Fred, wait, that wasn't supposed to...

BAM.

Loud, even too loud.

A cloud of smoke billows out from the depths of the store, sparks fly in all directions, and something small and glowing flies past you and hits the wall.

– …explode.. – Fred finishes his sentence.

You step inside and brush away the smoke.

And almost immediately you hear:

• Oh, hi!

• You're just in time, we missed you!

Standing before you, already like family, are Fred and George Weasley.

Both are disheveled, covered in soot, but with absolutely satisfied faces.

"We need an independent expert!" says one of them, dusting off his sleeve.

“Even very independent,” adds the second one and is already handing you something that hisses suspiciously.

A short pause.

They exchange glances.

And almost simultaneously:

• That's for sure.

• More likely.

One of them leans closer to you and whispers:

• Well, yes... at least last time no one was seriously hurt.

The second one nods.

• Yes, this is already progress.

Both look at you with the same sly smile.

"Well, what do you say?" comes the question.

— Ready to help science?

Somewhere in the distance, there is a quiet hissing sound again.
