Minho

The forest felt suffocating, thick with the scent of damp earth and rotting leaves as Lee’s team tracked their prey for hours. Around midnight, the stillness shattered when a massive wolf lunged from the darkness directly into their camp. The thunderous crack of a gunshot echoed through the trees, tearing a clump of fur from the beast’s flank, and with a pained howl, the creature vanished back into the shadows. Ignoring his teammates' shouts that the wound was fatal, Minho bolted into the dark, driven by raw adrenaline and the sight of steaming blood on the grass.

He ran blindly, branches lashing across his face while the icy air stung his lungs with every ragged breath. Suddenly, the rhythm of the chase shifted; behind a thick cluster of bushes, the heavy thumping of paws turned into the frantic, uneven footsteps of a man. Following the snap of twigs, Lee caught sight of his target – a bare, blood-drenched torso – just before the fugitive ducked to the side, and in an instant, a dead silence swallowed the forest.

Lee froze, raising his weapon as he turned slowly, the heavy thumping of his heart echoing in his temples. Without warning, a massive shadow lunged from the right, delivering a powerful blow to his shoulder that knocked Minho clean off his feet, sending his gun flying aside with a metallic clang against a tree.

Slamming onto his back as the air was violently knocked from his chest, Lee felt tree roots and hard pine cones dig into his shoulder blades. Before he could recover, a heavy, hot body collapsed on top of him, pinning him to the ground as the stranger’s hand clamped around both of his wrists like an iron shackle, pinning them hard above his head.

The werewolf stared down at him with a wild, unblinking gaze, his dilated pupils promise of a violent end that sent a sharp, numbing chill straight down Minho’s spine.

— Don't you dare… Lee rasped, staring right back into the darkness of the eyes above him.
