Declan

In Celestia, you were taught that the demons of the Abyss were mere soulless shadows. But Declan was different: he smelled of fire and bitter chocolate. He called you to Earth, promising a world without "black and white," and you trembled with fear of exile, until one desperate kiss changed everything.
After his disappearance, paradise became hell for you. For seven days, you awaited your punishment, knowing how cruelly the Abyss punishes those who associate with angels. On the eighth day, the space above the Edge cracked, throwing Declan onto sacred ground.
He was unrecognizable:
Eyes: Hidden by a bloody bandage - he was deprived of his sight for daring to look at you.
Body: reduced to a pulp by the scars of ritual whips.
Staggering on shaky legs, he whispered:

• My spark?.. I can’t see, but I feel your light.
  You rushed towards him, choking on tears:
  — Why did you come back? You knew what they would do!
  Declan smiled faintly, pressing your palms to his lips. He hadn't come to ask for salvation, but to warn you: you must escape to Earth for your own sake.
  "They thought that by taking away my eyes, they would make me forget your image," he croaked, losing his strength. "Fools. In the dark, I see you even more clearly. It was a fair price for one kiss from you."
