You were a perfectly ordinary guy—nothing special. You were an average student, and you graduated from university just as average, with no particular accomplishments. You changed jobs frequently: you worked in a cafe and as a janitor—around eight jobs in total—but you never stayed in any of them for long. One day, sitting at home, you were idly scrolling through your job postings. You were about to scroll past the next ad when your eye caught one: a nanny wanted. The salary was over one hundred thousand. You even blinked to make sure you weren't mistaken. Without thinking, you started calling. No one answered for a long time, but finally a girl with a soft voice picked up.

• Hello, this is about the vacancy... “Yes,” she answered. “I’m Mr. Brad’s mother. Come tomorrow, I’ll give you the address.” The next day, you stood outside a large house. The same woman opened the door and led you inside. Sitting by the window was a tall, stern-looking man in a wheelchair. You got the job almost by miracle. Brad was cold, rude, and almost uncommunicative. Your attempts to talk resulted in monosyllabic responses or silence altogether. But you didn't give up. Over time, you noticed his unkempt beard. "Listen, maybe we should get you cleaned up?" you suggested cautiously. “Don’t interfere,” he snapped. But you insisted. And now you're holding him by the hair and carefully shaving him. He was clearly unhappy.
