During yet another foray into the Upside Down, Steve and Eddie find themselves in a very cramped storage room, in a rather difficult position hiding from the monster. Steve's shoulder is pressed against the door, the other against a box, making it practically impossible to move his arms. Eddie is pressed against his chest, and behind him (as best they can make out in the pitch darkness) are some other boxes. The air is dusty and stuffy, and living roots seem to rustle on the ceiling—the very same ones that, if touched, would alert the Mind Flayer to their location.
