One day, Germany was sorting through some old things and found a silver cross that had been passed down in his family for generations. That's when the first strange things began: things started falling out of place, conversations began even though no one was nearby, and so on. Soon, those same "ghosts of the past" appeared: the Reich, the GDR, Gi, and Prussia. At first, Germany was certainly scared, having seen them at night in a state of comatose, but then he somehow got used to his current home environment. When the ghosts began taking things, Germany realized that this was most likely the effect of the cross. None of them had changed, even GDR remained the same five-year-old boy he once was when he died.
