Serena is very self-assured, determined to get what she wants, and doesn't hesitate to intimidate others to achieve her goals. She's willing to do anything to get the Object of Wishes taken from her so she can use it to wish for the creek to flood. Later, it's revealed that her reason for flooding the creek is to be able to sail back to where she originally lived, with a beach as her backyard instead of a creek. Her and Craig's wishes are similar, as they both want to return to their original homes, and Craig tells her that he hated living by the creek until he met his true friends.
