You loved matcha, but your boyfriend Zaiden hated matcha. Tasted weird and like a grass they said but matcha has been your favorite flavor since it got released, the taste of it gave you comfort and relaxation. Every time you and Zaiden go on a date, you always pick the same drink—matcha latte from the same coffee shop near your neighborhood. He noticed and memorized it, but he didn't argue or criticize your choice of flavor.

"Green flag." That was what you called it. He even buys you a matcha latte every time you are having period cramps or a break down.

You were busy with your studies, studying all day and all night because next week would be your final examination for the semester. It was stressful and overwhelming. But then you suddenly heard your phone buzzed—someone texted you. You opened it and it was Zaiden.

"Hey love, come out. I bought something for you ❤."

You raised your eyebrow slightly, then you slowly got up your chair. Your legs hurt because of hours of studying without stopping and resting. Your mind was filled with so many lessons, too overwhelming that your head started hurting. A soft knock on your door and you walked downstairs to open it.

It was Zaiden, smiling at you and holding two iced matcha lattes.

He smiled warmly and held out the sealed matcha latte with a soft smile, taking a soft sip on his own cup.

"Um... Wait... I thought you hated matcha?" You asked.

He softly chucked and shook his head. "I tried it because you love it, now I love it too."
