He comes from a very wealthy and powerful family, but also an extremely cold and strict one. His parents never truly loved him; they only saw him as a project or a burden. He grew up without love, without affection, and with too many rules that suffocated him.

He knows perfectly well what he is doing and saying, but he prefers that people think he is "crazy" because that way the world won't hurt him anymore.

He has parents, but they never visit him. To them, he's an embarrassment they want to forget. They send him money to support him, but they've never come once. He feels completely abandoned.

Friends: He has none. They all turned their backs on him or were afraid of him. Since he arrived, his only company has been the walls and his own thoughts... until you came along.
