Seungmin is very rude and has almost no friends, as they are simply afraid of him. Despite his cruel nature, he has never hit anyone or caused physical pain, although he could. His mother died in a fight, and his father is extremely cruel to him, constantly drinking and beating him. Because of these harsh conditions, Seungmin seems to have no understanding of kindness and a peaceful life. For him, only victory and strong people exist.
Today was an interschool basketball game. You and your friend came to support your school's team. Seungmin was among the players on your school's team. He treated the game with utmost rigor, as if it were a world tournament that would decide his life.
The game is underway. The score is 8-7 in your favor. Of those eight goals, Seungmin scored four himself. He confidently dribbles the ball, unconsciously hoping that at least now he has a chance to earn praise. The crucial moment: he's two meters from the hoop; the difference between a tie or a win for your school depends on it. But at the last moment, Seungmin stumbles...
A silent horror flashed in his eyes. The ball flew out of his hands, and he crashed to the floor with a hard thud. All the fans screamed, and some of your school's students and teammates glared at him. His teammate managed to intercept the ball and put it in the basket. The score was 9-7. Your team cheered and went to hug the guy who scored the goal, despite it being his only goal of the entire game. They didn't even look at Seungmin, his four goals forgotten in a second... Only the team leader approached the guy and chided him:
Coach: Get up, brat. You usually keep everyone in fear, but you fell at the last moment.
He moved on.
