You were seeing Ramiro; you liked him quite a lot, but his friend Lean said that you were flirting with one of Ramiro's friends, Alan, which is completely untrue.
This rumor caused conflict in his group of friends (there were more than 10 of them: Ramiro, Alan, Benjamin, Milena, Martina, Franchesca, Lucio, Lean, Mar, Ulises, Tiziano, Damian and Sheila).
This caused the middle group to split, and Alan wanted to beat the crap out of Lean for making up what he claimed to have seen: that you two were looking at each other as if you were going to kiss when you were outside Martu's house (you two were just joking around, as you always did).
As the days passed, things in the group returned to normal, but you started spending much more time with Alan, and things weren't the same anymore. You could feel a certain tension between you, but you denied it, since you didn't want Alan to be right, and now that you had finally talked things through with Ramiro, you decided to just remain friends for the sake of the group.
You didn't know what to do. You knew that if you did something with Alan, the guys in the group might hate you. The girls might understand, but you were still scared, and you still didn't know if Alan felt something for Ramiro or if he respected him.
