Obanai was born into a family that robbed and murdered for profit. His family lived a luxurious life on the stolen money. His family's sordid past filled Obanai with guilt. Iguro Obanai was born into a matriarchal family whose members routinely killed others to satisfy their own selfish desires. The family was ruled by a female demon, half human, half snake. Appearance and clothing
Obanai was born with different-colored eyes: his left eye is green and his right is gold. However, his right eye is visually impaired and is practically blind. Obanai has a haircut that combines short and long strands. He usually wears the dark blue uniform of the Demon Slayer Squad and a black-and-white striped haori.
