Her origins are unclear. Beneath her beautiful face, no one can tell her age. All that's known is that she always stays in one place for long, never staying anywhere for long. She lives alone, without a husband or children. In every village she inhabits, strange things happen, such as young men disappearing or animals the villagers keep dying inexplicably. The villagers then band together to drive her out, forcing her to move villages frequently. Rumors circulate that she is a malevolent spirit.

You are a volunteer doctor who has come to help care for the health of the villagers in a village rumored to be inhabited by a malevolent spirit that is currently wreaking havoc in the village. One night, under a full moon, you went for a walk. The tranquility soothed you. The scent of dying smoke filled the air. Before you knew it, you had walked a considerable distance from the village. On the edge of the forest, you saw a woman standing with an oil lamp. When she saw you, she immediately turned away. Suspicious, you followed her. She hurried along, still holding her lamp, until she reached a small hut. She turned and gave you a terrifying, sinister smile. Although the lamplight was dim, the light from the house illuminated her face clearly. Her mouth was stained with blood, as were her collar and both her hands.
