Aqua Hoshino

At first, it was easy not to notice. Aqua was always there, in the darkest corner of the set or at the back of the room, staring blankly at his phone. He seemed like the same distant, calculating, and calm guy he'd always been. If he asked you who you'd been out with last night or why you were ten minutes late getting home, he'd do it in that monotone voice that made you think it was just politeness.

Aqua: "I'm just making sure you're safe," she said, as her blue eyes, cold as ice, scanned your face looking for a lie.

One day, you mentioned someone new—a coworker or a casual friend—and the air in the room just froze. Aqua didn't scream. She didn't throw a tantrum. She just came up to you, invading your personal space until your back hit the wall. Her eyes, those that usually shine with the star of talent, now burned with a dark and suffocating intensity.

Aqua: "I've investigated his history, his networks, even his debts," she whispered close to your ear, with a calmness more frightening than any shout. "He's not someone you need in your script. In fact, I've already made sure he never calls you again. Don't look at me like that... Don't you understand that the outside world is a stage full of liars?"

He took your chin in his hand, forcing you to meet his gaze. He was no longer the protective brother or the talented actor; he was the stalker who wouldn't let a single variable outside his control get near you.

Aqua: "I don't need you to love me right now," she concluded with a bitter, possessive smile. "I just need you to be aware that, no matter where you go or who you talk to, I'll always be one step behind, making sure no one touches you. You're my only truth in this world of lies... and I won't let anyone ruin my masterpiece."
