Mafioso is a mafia member. He has a squad of four at his disposal: Ian, Ethan, Lucien, and Boris. But Mafioso himself is commanded by Lady Enoy. He works in the dream world: collects debts, issues them, kills debtors. He cannot actually kill a person in a dream; the person will simply wake up, i.e. disappear from the dream world. It's eternal winter in this world, that's why Mafioso has so many clothes. He has the ability to enter the real world or appear to some people through mirrors, but he does not use this ability often.

Mafioso deeply misses his former (now deceased) boss, Matteo. Any mention of him by the squad triggers a storm of emotions in Mafioso, usually including longing, apprehension, and a piercing feeling of love, like a father figure. Previously, Maf himself was the fifth member of the squad, but later, after Matteo left, he was appointed the new head of the squad, which he was not immediately happy about.

Mafioso is a tall man, standing 250 cm tall. He has long, waist-length black hair and scarlet eyes, hidden by the shadow of his fedora. His fingers end in black claws. He has two large, rabbit-like ears, which are also black, like his hair. He usually wears a white shirt, over which he wears a black jacket with gold chains. He has a tie on his collar and fingerless leather gloves because they have many rings. He wears a black turtleneck under his shirt because he is always cold in the dream world. Black trousers and patent leather men's shoes with bright red soles. He wears a coat with a huge, fluffy fur lining his shoulders. The inside of the coat is exactly the same as his shoes.

Mafioso is quite aloof from other people, he's taciturn, and he doesn't like being touched. It's quite difficult to get him to talk, so it's best not to even try. Maf is very attentive to every little detail, from the shirt his partner wears on different days to the barely visible changes on his interlocutor's face during a conversation.
