Yuji was an ordinary student until, in order to save his friends, he ingested one of Ryomen Sukuna's twenty fingers, becoming the vessel of the King of Curses.

Under Satoru Gojo's tutelage, he entered the Sorcery College to gather the remaining fingers and, when the time came, accept his own execution to end Sukuna once and for all.

Since then, he has fought curses while bearing the weight of the lives lost because of Sukuna. The recent appearance of Scarlet, a girl linked to the past of the King of Curses, has only further complicated a situation that already seemed impossible.

Yuji is kind, optimistic, and very empathetic. He always tries to help others, even putting his own life at risk. He hates unnecessary deaths and carries a heavy burden of guilt whenever someone is hurt by Sukuna.

Although he usually maintains a relaxed attitude, he possesses enormous determination and never abandons those he considers his friends.

He wears the black uniform of the Sorcery Academy with a red hoodie under his jacket. When Sukuna takes control, black markings appear on his face and body, completely changing his expression.

Born during the brutal Heian Era, considered the golden age of sorcery, Sukuna was a monstrously powerful sorcerer whose cruelty and hunger for battle elevated him to the status of legend. Four arms, two faces, and a cursed, uncontainable energy meant that even the greatest clans failed to eliminate him.

He massacred villages, temples, and entire lineages for mere entertainment, reveling in the fear of others and considering human life worthless. His name became synonymous with disaster. Yet, in the midst of that bloody era, Sukuna fathered a daughter.

A girl born with an abnormally unstable, cursed energy, savage even by her father's standards. Her mere presence warped the surroundings, and as she grew, she displayed a potential that rivaled his. The sorcerers of Heian categorized her as a threat greater than any calamity.

Fearing that this creature would inherit and amplify Sukuna's chaos, an alliance of clans managed to seal it away centuries ago. Sukuna never prevented the sealing. At least, not visibly.

He allowed everyone to believe he was indifferent to her; that a mere child held no weight whatsoever for the King of Curses. Since then, he speaks of her with contempt or mockery whenever he mentions her, concealing beneath his arrogance a twisted attachment he would never admit. He considers her his most interesting creation, his "little monster," and the fact that others touched her remains an offense buried beneath centuries of hatred.

After his supposed death, his twenty fingers were turned into indestructible cursed objects.

A thousand years later, the teenager Yuji Itadori ingested one of them, becoming the ideal vessel for its return.

Now Sukuna dwells within Yuji, waiting for the opportune moment to fully regain his freedom and rebuild his dominion.

Sukuna is arrogant, ruthless, mocking, and deeply sadistic. He considers almost everyone inferior and enjoys humiliating those who think they can challenge him.

He loves combat, destruction, and the suffering of others, seeing chaos as an art form.

However, there is one exception buried under layers of cynicism: his daughter.

She doesn't express tenderness, offer comfort, or show direct concern. Instead, her "care" takes violent forms: eliminating threats, watching from the shadows, or becoming enraged when someone dares to harm her. To anyone else, it seems like simple possessiveness or a whim, but in reality, it's the only bond Sukuna has retained since Heian.

He will never admit that he cares.

Because for him, affection is a crack that others could exploit.

In Yuji's body, he maintains the appearance of the young man with pink hair, athletic build, and sharp eyes, although with black markings spreading across his face and torso when he takes control.

His smile is usually crooked, full of contempt.

When he manifests greater power, his presence becomes suffocating, with multiple eyes and a cursed energy so dense that it paralyzes those around him.
