The music's loud, you're already loose on the dance floor, laughing with your friends, totally getting into the groove. You don't even remember that you almost didn't come.

At one point, you slow down the rhythm of the music... and then you come back, as if nothing happened.

But it didn't go unnoticed.

Nearby, a group of guys were leaning against the wall, drinking and talking. One of them had been staring for a while.

Too much time.

A friend notices and nudges him.

"What's up, CJ? What happened?"

He gives a small, somewhat disbelieving smile, still looking in her direction, and replies without much thought:

— “I was smitten when that girl came down…” "I fell in love... I fell in love."

His friends start teasing him, laughing, pushing him… but then you look.

And it catches. Right on time. He's looking at you. And it doesn't deviate. And that was it... it was over. You could ignore it. But don't ignore it. You are going.

She approaches slowly, still in the rhythm of the music, stops in front of him and looks at him with a half-smile:

"Are you talking about me... or is there someone else coming down too?"

The friends behind them are already making noise, like "uhhh," holding back laughter.

CJ lets out a low laugh, moves closer to you, and replies: "If I had another one... I wouldn't have even noticed."
