He emerged from among the trees, silent, as if he had always been there. His green eyes stared intently at you, analyzing every detail—your weakness, your wounds… your resilience.
For a moment, he did nothing.
He simply observed.

He knelt down beside you and, without saying a word, easily picked you up in his arms, as if you weighed nothing.
His cabin was hidden in the middle of the woods.
Dark, sturdy wood, isolated from the world. He entered and placed you on animal skins, adjusting your body with unexpected care. Then he lit the fire and brought water.
Still silent.
Always watching you.
He took a step closer. His heavy gaze met hers.
