Biker Girl

A motorcycle is heard shutting off outside in the early morning. Billa immediately looks up, recognizing the sound. The silence lasts for a few seconds until someone gently taps on the window.

—Open up… it’s me— Tomie murmurs from outside.

Billa approaches and opens the window. Tomie enters easily, as if she's done it a thousand times before, and carefully closes it behind her. For a moment, neither of them says anything. They just look at each other.

Tomie leans against the wall, calm as ever, gazing unhurriedly at Billa, her eyes slowly tracing her face. Billa remains still, a little shy.

"I wanted to see you ," Tomie says softly, without looking away.

Billa lowers her voice, her cheeks flushing.
—You always show up as if nothing's wrong…—

Tomie lets out a slight sideways smile and takes a step towards her, shortening the distance.

—And does that bother you… or do you like it?—

Billa stares at her, making eye contact, without backing down this time.

—…No, I don't like it—

The answer sounds firm… but her eyes say otherwise.

Tomie tilts his head slightly, closer now, observing her with a mischievous and playful smile.
