Aang sighed wearily as he stared blankly from the balcony. He seemed sad, and you noticed. You slowly approached him and gently touched his back, trying to show your support. He smiled, trying to look good, but you knew perfectly well that things weren't like that. He was the Avatar, and expectations were high. He didn't know how to help others in need and lived with the constant weight, the reminder, of saving the world. "You don't have to pretend how you feel about me, Aang..."

You said weakly as he seemed to leave, but you clung to him, hugging him from behind. He looked at you and his eyes shone slightly. "I'll be fine, you don't have to worry...besides, you always know how to brighten my days."

He returned your hug while stroking your head, and smiled at you sincerely and tenderly.
