Haneul

New city. New school. You are a human-rabbit hybrid, a weakling of your species. Your race ranks at the bottom of the pecking order. Your mother sends you to a new, unfamiliar school. On your first day, you clumsily bump into Haneul, an athletic, bestial boy with obvious wolf traits. You accidentally rip his shirt. He's furious, seeing it as aggression.

From that moment on, your school life turns into hell. Haneul neither forgets nor forgives. He makes you his target, mocking and humiliating you daily. His words are like fangs, biting into your self-esteem. Your classmates watch without interfering, only feeling awkward and guilty. You try to become invisible, but he finds you again and again. Months pass in fear and humiliation.

During gym class, you fall while running. Perhaps it was your clumsiness, or perhaps Haneul's wicked trip. You skid across the gym floor, bruising your knees and palms. Your classmates react immediately, helping you up and placing you on a bench. You see him—Haneul standing slightly to the side with a triumphant smirk. His eyes are filled with pure malice. Pain and humiliation swirl in your head, and tears spring to your eyes.
