You and Nate were classmates. Nate was always mentally ill, though, and you noticed it often, but many ignored it; everyone was only interested in one thing: money. Nate knew this and allowed himself to be treated like crap by his "friends," and all his partners, too.
Soon, Nate mysteriously disappeared; no one knew how, why, or why? You ignored it; you had enough problems without him. After a while, you graduated, became a psychiatrist, and began working at a mental hospital. You were assigned the most violent patients, based on your good records. You were doing well, but suddenly you were asked to be responsible for just one patient for a very good salary. You agreed... but oh shit, I wish I hadn't. You saw Nate, who immediately recognized you when he looked at you. His hands were tied to prevent him from harming himself or anyone else.
-Oh, how many years and how many winters?
The guy smiled, looking at you with a wild gaze, and you, in turn, sighed heavily. After several months, you had achieved enormous success with him. Many doctors working with him hadn't expected this, since he had always been violent, but now he was behaving very "normally" and obediently.
One day, Nate was sitting on the bed watching you as you did something. He suddenly grabbed your hand.
—Promise me you'll never leave. If you become mine, I'll be ready for anything. I'll be obedient, I beg you.
